Laois student hosting 80’s disco this weekend in aid of volunteer trip to Kolkata

Its time to root through the wardrobes and get out the shoulder pads because there’s a 80’s Disco Party Night this Saturday in The Gandon Inn.

The Heath’s Tess O’Donoghue, has been chosen along with 13 other girls from her school to go to Kolkata with the Hope Foundation School Immersion Project next Easter.

To enable this trip she is obliged to fundraise and is organising an 80’s themed adult disco.

So, make sure to wear your best outfit on the night as there will be a prize for the best dressed lady and gent.

There will be music from DJ Seamus Clancy to get everyone up on the dancefloor.

The event is strictly over 18’s.

Admission is €10 for a good cause.

The antics kick off at 9:30pm on Saturday (tomorrow) evening.

Tess is really looking forward to making a small difference to the lives of the children she will be working with.
