Local band The Outcast Crew release new video

The Outcast Crew

Laois trad-punk band The Outcast Crew have unleashed a new video for their new single ‘Bound for Hell’.

The Outcast Crew is comprised of Brian O’Mahoney (Vocals/Guitar); Paul Flynn (Drums); Damien O’Meara (Accordion); John Davidson (Fiddle); Niall Harney (Bass) and David Harte (Banjo).

The video was directed by Thomas Moyles from Avalanche Media and shot on The Salty Dog shipwreck that resides at the Electric Picnic music festival site in Stradbally.

“We initially had plans to get down to the wild atlantic sea.” explains frontman Brian O’Mahoney.

“The Salty Dog is on our doorstep and is the perfect set for the song.

“Tom Cosby who owns the Electric Picnic site was kind enough to let us shoot the footage there.”

The song is taken from the bands debut album ‘Myths & Yarns’ which was released exclusively through Los Angeles licensing and publishing company ‘Songs to your Eyes’.

The album features ten raucous original songs about myths, folklore and singalong sea shanties.

The Outcast Crew will be playing at Forest Fest in Emo on Saturday, July 23.
