Flower power charity picnic to be held in Laois this weekend for two great causes

Teddy Bears in all their finery will be descending on the Heath House (R32 VH28), at the Heath, Portlaoise on Sunday August 21 for a charity day.

They will gather to enjoy a picnic and a day out – in aid of Laois Offaly Families for Autism and Ukrainian Refugees – as part of the Laois Heritage Week programme.

Families and those who enjoy a picnic, are invited to come and relax with a backdrop of a sunflowers and cornflower meadow.

Guests are invited to bring their own picnic and musical instrument and join local musicians – Irish and Ukrainian for a session in the field.

Children are encouraged to take along their teddy bears and a painting for the children’s art exhibition.

99s will be available and The Rural Vagabond will be on hand to supply coffee.

Booking is essential and can be made via the Booking Essential link on the flyer or by emailing: info@heathhousefarmlaois.com.

There are three booking slots available – 11am to 1pm, 1pm to 3pm and 3pm to 5pm.

The even is weather dependent.
