The Laois All County leagues get underway this weekend with full round of fixtures in the top divisions of hurling and football.
The Laois hurlers are also in action as well as the minor camogie team.
But there has been a couple of casualties to the fixture list already.
In ACFL Division 1A, county champions Stradbally’s home clash with St. Joseph’s has been postponed on Sunday as the St Joseph’s dinner dance is due to take place the night before.
The game has been refixed for Tuesday March 21 at 8pm.
Meanwhile, the ACHL Div 1 clash between Ballinakill and Abbeyleix has been moved to Heywood on Sunday with a 4.30pm throw-in.
Elsewhere in that Division, the tie between Camross and Castletown has been called off.
