Continuing our tour of Laois secondary schools are the county, we paid a visit to St Fergal's Rathdowney today.
We were on the tail-end of the crowds as they collected their Leaving Cert results in Rathdowney.

It was emotional day in Mountmellick Community School - and having just returned from their Debs a few hours ago, you can bet that's a good reason why!
But the throngs came in to the school to collect their results...
There were tears of relief and joy in Heywood CS as Leaving Cert students collected their results today.
One amongst them even got the top marks of 625 points - Ruth Bergin from Abbeyleix.
