LISTEN: Red cards galore, predictions and a shortage of footballs – it’s the latest LaoisToday Podcast

We’ve just about caught our breath from an en-trawling weekend of GAA action.

We had a total of 17 football games between senior, intermediate and junior – and we managed to get reports on almost all of them.

The senior football championship began with six games and there are two more to look forward to this week as Emo face Ballyroan-Abbey on Tuesday with Courtwood taking on Arles-Kilcruise on Wednesday.

This week produced an unusually high number of red cards too – with one game seeing the referee flash his card five times.

Steven Miller is joined by Alan Hartnett as they take a comprehensive look at all of the 40 teams that competed in the top three competitions.

We also look ahead to the next round of games in each of the competitions.
